Dr. Sean Truong completed both his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree and specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After 15 years of private practice in Las Vegas, Dr. Sean returned to join Dr. Douglas’ office, where he first began his orthodontic career more than 20 years ago.

Dr. Teresa Nguyen was born and raised right here in Orange County. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA, where she discovered her passion for orthodontics. After graduating from dental school, she moved to Florida to pursue advanced orthodontic training at Jacksonville University, earning her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Orthodontics along with a Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Douglas Nguyen earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Loma Linda University and continued his advanced training at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he completed his orthodontic specialty residency. He also served for more than five years as a clinical instructor at the UCLA Department of Orthodontics.

When Do You Need to See the Orthodontist?
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that all children have a check-up with an orthodontist specialist no later than age 7.
